HISTORY
Scallywagon formed in May of 1997 by three friends who love to play music and love to play punk rock. Out of a profound love for music, Scallywagon came about, and never plans on going away. Members have come and gone but this band has gone on strong through everything thrown in it's way. One thing you can count on is Scallywagon giving their all to this band for a long time to come and having a great time creating and playing music.
To date, Scallywagon has released two full length albums and a 7 song E.P. on the late Whitehouse Records from Indiana. These guys have appeared on the warped tour and have played with such bands as Whippersnapper, Less than Jake, Homegrown, Mad Caddies, Teen Idols, Alkaline Trio, Slick Shoes, Hot Water Music, Ann Beretta and many more. Currently, Scallywagon is without a label and doing everything DIY but look for these guys to find that perfect label for them quite soon. One main thing these guys plan on doing is never giving up until their aspirations and goals are achieved and then some so be on the lookout for these guys from Cincinnati because they have only just begun!!
DISCOGRAPHY
1997- First Demo recorded and put out (DIY) one week after Scallywagon formed.
1997- Hopscotch 1st Full length album (Whitehouse Records)
1998- All We Can Afford is a Smile EP (Whitehouse Records)
1999- Unreleased album is recorded but never released due to a couple of setbacks. Songs from this album will be re-done and released in the future.
2000- 8 song Demo recorded 2 months after Frank joined. 4 songs from this were put on Putting Two and Two Together.
2001- New album Putting Two and Two Together is recorded with new lineup.
2002- Putting Two and Two Together is released (DIY). This is the band's third release to date.
2003- New album coming soon!
